Bespoke solutions to optimise a prestigious space
Moletta Mobili tackled the design challenge by achieving a complete customisation of the furnishings for the villa. Through precision surveying and careful study of the interior architecture, we utilised the corridor niches with perfectly integrated built-in wardrobes. In the laundry area, we concealed the washing machine and dryer behind fitted wall units equipped with ventilation grilles, while in the bathrooms we created custom-shaped furniture completed with fine marbles. Every wardrobe was enriched with built-in internal LED lighting integrated into the uprights and customised finishes, combining classical elegance with contemporary practicality.
Design and technical details of the Forte dei Marmi project
The creation draws inspiration from Moletta Mobili's classical and neoclassical collections, reinterpreted in a contemporary key through clean lines and the pursuit of unique material pairings. The furnishings were crafted with high-quality solid wood and blockboard structures, enhanced by custom artisanal lacquering ranging from warm white to sage and powder grey tones with contrasting profiles. Among the distinctive custom elements and finishes are:
- Wardrobes with Vienna straw: Lacquered frame doors (in sage or ivory finish) with central inserts of hand-woven Vienna straw, ideal for allowing natural ventilation of garments and bathroom cabinets.
- Internal technical lighting: Flush vertical profiles with warm light LED strips and presence sensors, designed to perfectly illuminate the natural wood compartments of the walk-in closet and wardrobes.
- Walk-in closet and niche wardrobes: Full-height built-in solutions featuring modules equipped with visible drawer units, adjustable shelves, hanging rails, and storage compartments.
- Laundry wall unit: Lacquered cabinetry with doors featuring micro-perforated metal grilles for air circulation, designed to conceal the washing machine and dryer while creating ample storage space.
- Bespoke bathroom furniture: Monobloc units with shaped doors or Vienna straw details, completed by exquisite marble vanity tops shaped for integrated washbasins.
- Pantry cabinet with display glass: A built-in unit in dark wood veneer with frame doors and transparent glass for the visual preservation of glassware and tableware.
