The walnut and cherry wood used for the furniture in our prestigious classic collections can be stained in lighter or darker shades, or matched to a customer’s sample to harmonize with existing furnishings or specific details in the room where the furniture will be placed.
Upon request, Moletta Mobili provides samples of various finishes, allowing customers to evaluate, compare, and confidently select the shade that best complements their home décor.

Lacquered finishes offer an even broader range of possibilities. We can produce furniture in any color from the RAL or NCS color charts, or match a custom sample provided by the client. For example, if you choose a leather headboard in a particular shade, we can replicate that tone in the lacquer of a bedside table, achieving a refined and coordinated look.

Beyond color, custom finishing also includes options such as antique or patinated effects, where every detail is enhanced by artisanal polishing techniques that further enrich the final result.
And thanks to in-house polishing carried out by our skilled craftsmen, this level of flexibility and personalization does not imply the significant price increase often associated with mass-market brands.

The display cabinets, sideboards, tables, and beds in Moletta Mobili’s classic and contemporary collections are available in various widths and configurations, with single, double, or triple doors. However, standard dimensions do not always fit the space where the furniture will be placed.
Thanks to the flexibility of an artisan company with its own in-house carpentry workshop, we are able to modify each piece to suit the customer's specific requirements. Every request is carefully evaluated by our technical department, which considers the structural aspects before designing the desired custom-made solution.

Custom-sized beds are frequently requested — whether to accommodate existing bed bases or mattresses, or simply to meet a preference for a larger king-size format with greater width and/or length.

Tables, too, are often tailored in size. As the focal point of the dining room, a table must be well-proportioned to the space, with dimensions that highlight both its form and presence.

To describe the possibilities of customizing the structural design of standard products, it’s helpful to share concrete examples we have developed over the years.

Belgian customers, fond admirers of our Ca' Dolfin cherry wood collection, requested a custom-made oval table with a unique feature: since they often entertain guests for long aperitifs, the table would frequently be used with its extensions. They specifically asked for the extensions to include the same floral inlay continuing seamlessly across their surface, and for the cherry wood grain to be uninterrupted. Additionally, they requested that when the table is extended, the side profiles remain continuous across the central section, where the extensions are inserted. To meet this request, we designed a solution with folding extension panels that could be neatly stored inside the table when not in use.

Another example of a structural customization involved a cherry wood display cabinet with double doors. The clients wanted the doors to be split vertically, allowing them to open either only the glass section or only the wooden portion. Once again, our technical team developed a solution that fully met the customer’s specific request.
