Through careful on-site inspection and millimeter-precise measurements of the space, Moletta Mobili has developed a highly customized bespoke lacquered furnishing project. Drawing upon the mastery of Venetian cabinet-making, we transformed the architectural constraints of the tavern into strengths: the structural columns became spacious wardrobes, the niche was enhanced with a display cabinet, and the radiators were integrated with elegant wooden radiator covers. Design and technical details of the tavern creation
The project draws inspiration from Moletta Mobili's classical and contemporary collections, revised in proportions and details to adapt perfectly to the architecture of the room. All elements are crafted from high-quality solid wood and blockboard, finished with an antiqued ivory patina hand-lacquering, designed to perfectly match the pre-existing kitchen. Among the key bespoke elements, we find:
- Storage column cladding: boiserie panelling (lambris) concealing flush push-to-open doors, transforming structural pillars into functional pantries/wardrobes.
- Lambris and Boiserie: half-wall cladding with a moulded cornice running along the perimeter and elements, imparting elegance and protection to the walls.
- Radiator covers: perforated wooden lattice grilles integrated into the lambris profile, conceived to ensure proper thermal airflow without compromising on style.
- Niche display cabinet and showcase: a built-in equipped wall composed of a storage base with moulded doors, upper glass cabinets with internal lighting, and open compartments featuring a contrasting walnut veneer back panel.
- Coordinated TV unit: positioned next to the fireplace, echoing the mouldings and heights of the base for a continuous visual effect.
