Tailored solutions blending classical cabinet-making, refined inlay work, and stylistic continuity for the home
A prestigious living area featuring a central fireplace to be integrated into the furniture
Bespoke niche display cabinets and concealed TV module
Designed to enhance the walls flanking the fireplace, the walnut wood display cabinets make use of every millimeter of the niches' depth. The side module integrates a TV compartment with flap doors and elegant inlaid large drawers.
Inlaid details and shaped craftsmanship in fine walnut
The entire modular wall unit showcases the warm tone of Italian walnut, embellished with curved side craftsmanship, highly artisanal shaped cornices, and sophisticated geometric inlays with herringbone-arranged grain patterns on the solid panels.
Coordinated dining area with extendable table and tailored seating
The adjacent room hosts a large rectangular extendable table with turned legs. The ensemble is completed by classical chairs and matching host armchairs, all upholstered in coordinated fine fabrics that echo the elegance of the living area.
Tailored design and attention to detail down to the smallest elements
Moletta Mobili has translated the architectural features of the property into a strength, designing a modular wall unit custom-made for the existing niches. Avoiding standard solutions, each piece of furniture has been integrated to frame the stone fireplace mantel, balancing solids and voids thanks to internally LED-illuminated glass doors. The chromatic continuity and rigorous selection of walnut wood species have made it possible to unify the sitting area and the dining room into a single refined environment, where Venetian tradition responds with millimeter precision to spatial requirements.
From the inspiration of the Villa Giusti collection to the exclusivity of custom-made
For this project, Moletta Mobili's master designers drew inspiration from the noble lines of the Villa Giusti collection, renowned for its mastery of walnut craftsmanship and decorative inlays. The collection elements were redesigned from scratch to fit the precise dimensions of the living wall: the crown mouldings and curved shaped pilasters were modeled to connect the projecting compartments, while simultaneously allowing for the built-in TV and warm backlighting of the display cabinets.
Technical customization involved every construction detail:
- Wood and inlays: Walnut structure with a classic beeswax finish. The lower panels of the display cabinets and the drawer fronts feature "feather" veneer inlays arranged in a book-matched pattern, framed by fine wood stringing.
- Living wall elements: Two side display cabinets with transparent glass and repositionable internal shelves; central connecting element; equipped TV module with upper pocket doors, a compartment for the screen, and a lower drawer unit with cast bronze handles.
- Dining area: Rectangular extendable table from the Villa Giusti collection with an inlaid walnut veneered top. Chairs and host armchairs with a shaped solid wood structure, pierced lyre-shaped backrest, and tailored upholstery in damask fabric.
- Lighting: High color-rendering LED bars recessed out of sight into the upper cornices of the display cabinets to highlight the displayed objects and create an atmosphere around the fireplace.
